What Youll Do:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance, guiding students in academics, behavior, and social interactions under the direction of teaching staff
  • Help students navigate daily routines and classroom transitions, encouraging participation and engagement
  • Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with consistency and care
  • Offer support with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
  • Play an active role in cultivating a safe, respectful, and inclusive school community

Desired Background:

  • Associates degree or higher
  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting students as needed
  • Current fingerprint background clearance, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
  • Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or as an RBT is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork, patience, and a reliable nature
