Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Brentwood, CA

As a school RBT substitute, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group support to students in classroom settings
• Monitor and document student behavior to share with supervisors
• Assist with transitions, classroom participation, and daily routines
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEP guidance as needed
• Support students academic, behavioral, and social needs alongside teachers and school staff
• Ensure safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments
• Provide supervision, mobility, and personal care assistance when required

To be eligible, youll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Minimum age of 18
• Up-to-date TB test (per school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting if needed
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred experience includes work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care, particularly supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges. Any CPI, PMT, or additional behavioral experience is a plus, though not required. Reliability, patience, and a team-oriented spirit are also highly valued.
