Registered Behavioral Technician Subs Needed School-Based | Flexible Opportunities

Spindle is actively seeking skilled Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are passionate about supporting students on a flexible, per diem basis. This role offers the rewarding experience of making a meaningful impact in a structured school environment, working 1:1 with students in need of behavioral and academic support.

In this as-needed position, youll enjoy the freedom to select assignments that fit your availability, filling critical school coverage gaps and ensuring students receive dedicated assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic, social, and behavioral support to students in classroom settings
  • Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance following guidance from teachers and school staff
  • Aid students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
  • Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as required
  • Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as necessary
  • Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

School Compliance Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist as needed
  • TB test in accordance with district guidelines
  • Up-to-date clearances (or willingness to obtain them prior to starting)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
  • Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols (a plus, not required)
  • Reliable, patient, and enjoys collaborating in a team environment
