Job Description
Empower students to reach their full potential as a Per Diem School-Based Paraprofessional supporting classrooms near Anderson, CA. As a valued member of the educational support team, youll collaborate with educators and specialists to tailor assistance for students, especially those with special needs or requiring behavioral support. Your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Paraprofessional, or Behavioral Health Assistant will be instrumental in helping students thrive in every aspect of their school day.
What Youll Do:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to guide students through academic tasks and social learning
- Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and participation to foster independence and engagement
- Implement behavior support plans, following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
- Help maintain a welcoming, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates degree or higher
- Minimum age of 18
- Physically able to support students, including lifting when required
- Willingness to complete fingerprint/background checks
- Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care a plus
- Familiarity with special needs, autism support, or behavioral intervention strongly preferred
- Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT highly valued
- Reliable, communicative, and committed to collaborative teamwork
