Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician in Allentown, PA

Registered Behavioral Technician subs are needed for flexible, school-based opportunities supporting students one-on-one in a dynamic educational environment near Allentown, PA. In this role, you will:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Deliver individualized or small-group support as directed by educators and school staff
• Aid students during daily routines, transitions, and improve classroom engagement
• Implement and follow behavior support plans and IEPs as needed
• Support with student mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

School compliance requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to provide a current TB test (per district protocols)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All required clearances must be current or obtained before starting

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Background or certification in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is an asset, but not required
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
