Paraprofessional

Per Diem School-Based Paraprofessional - Yuba City, CA

This role is ideal for dedicated professionals committed to fostering academic, behavioral, and social growth in students through individualized attention and support.

PAY: $22.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support under teacher guidance
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Higher is considered a plus
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current fingerprint background clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or RBT considered a plus
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
