Per Diem Para Professional in Yuba City, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students in daily classroom activities, transitions, and routines
• Provide academic and behavioral support according to teacher and staff direction
• Follow behavior support plans and IEPs as necessary
• Aid with supervision, mobility, and personal care for students
• Help foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure student success

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test (per district criteria)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Cleared background/fingerprint checks (can be obtained prior to start)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a bonus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about contributing to a team
