Per Diem Para Professional in Yuba City, CA

As a vital member of the classroom team, youll provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally.

What Youll Do:

• Assist students individually and in small groups under teacher guidance
• Support daily classroom routines, transitions, and student engagement
• Implement strategies from behavior support plans and IEPs
• Aid in supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as directed
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test in compliance with school policy
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Must have or be willing to obtain all necessary school clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in education, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not required
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative in nature
