Per Diem Teacher Aide | Yuba City, California

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for school-based, per diem roles supporting students in a dynamic and flexible environment. Assignments are available as needed, based on school coverage requirements, allowing you to work when it fits your schedule.

What Youll Do:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students under the direction of teachers and staff
• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially in the classroom
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and staying engaged in activities
• Implement behavioral support strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as needed
• Support students with mobility, personal care, and supervision needs
• Maintain an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• TB test in accordance with school requirements
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Active or obtainable background clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in a school, behavioral health, special education, or child care setting
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is helpful but not necessary
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach with colleagues

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
