Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide valuable support for students in a dynamic school environment near Yuba City, CA. In this per diem, as-needed role, youll step in to assist studentsespecially those who require individual attentionensuring educational and behavioral support throughout the school day. Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Guide students through routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when necessary
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as appropriate
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required
• Ability to obtain or maintain necessary clearances before starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not required
• Strong reliability, patience, and teamwork skills
