Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or small group support in classroom activities as directed by school staff
• Assist students with academic engagement, behavioral management, and social interaction
• Help students during transitions, daily routines, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEP guidelines where applicable
• Encourage mobility and independence, supporting supervision and personal care as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Recent TB test (per school district policies)
• Willingness and ability to assist with lifting and support as needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain required school clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Exposure to CPI, PMT, or RBT methods is helpful but not required
• Reliable, collaborative, and patient nature
