Per Diem Classroom Assistant | Ypsilanti, Michigan

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide essential support to students in a variety of school settings near Ypsilanti, MI. As an Instructional Aide, you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day success of students who require additional assistance, working one-on-one or in small groups under the guidance of teachers and school staff. What Youll Do:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver individualized or small-group assistance as directed

• Assist with supervision, mobility, and, when needed, personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning space

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willingness to secure or present current clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Background with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods (not required)
• Patience, reliability, and a collaborative spirit
