Position Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group assistance as guided by educators
• Help students with daily transitions, routines, and class engagement
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEP guidelines as needed
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care
• Cultivate a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test completed (per district policy)
• Ability to assist with student mobility and lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health
• Comfort supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT background welcome but not required
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
