Per Diem Paraeducator in Yermo, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms

• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 18 years of age
• TB test in accordance with district standards
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Updated clearances, or willing to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or challenging behaviors
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (not required, but beneficial)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
