Per Diem Teacher Assistant - Yermo, California

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in a school-based environment near Yermo, CA. What Youll Do:

• Offer direct academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Follow teacher and staff directions to support classroom learning and participation
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and behavior support plans
• Provide supervision, mobility support, and occasional personal care as needed
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral strategies when applicable
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom environment

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test in compliance with district standards
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Clearances must be current or obtained before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Prior experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not mandatory)
• A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
