In this role, youll step into school settings to assist students, working directly with those who benefit from academic, behavioral, and social support. Youll collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to foster engagement, help with daily classroom routines, and provide targeted assistance, either one-on-one or in small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or small-group academic and behavioral assistance
• Support students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Implement behavioral support plans and follow IEPs as specified
• Maintain an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (in accordance with district standards)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Up-to-date school compliance clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus
• A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
