Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to support students in dynamic, school-based settings near Yermo, CA. These per diem, as-needed roles offer flexible schedulingchoose shifts that fit your availability and make a difference each day you work. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Providing 1:1 or small-group support as directed by teachers and school staff
• Helping students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implementing behavior support plans and following IEPs as applicable
• Supporting mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

School compliance requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test (per district regulations)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not a must)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative mindset
