A dynamic role is available for compassionate professionals to provide essential support to students in a school setting. These Instructional Aide positions offer per diem, as-needed shifts to assist with student academic, behavioral, and social development through 1:1 or small-group support.

Position Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to promote student well-being
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current or obtainable TB test in compliance with district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting students if necessary
• Must hold all required clearances prior to starting assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT (Positive Management Techniques), or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is a plus, but not required
• Patient, reliable, and a collaborative team player

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
