Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Yermo, CA

What Youll Do:

• Assist students directly in classroom activities, helping with lessons, transitions, and daily routines
• Deliver 1:1 or small group support as directed by school staff or teachers
• Implement IEP goals and behavior support plans
• Promote an inclusive, respectful, and safe educational environment
• Provide supervision, mobility help, and, when needed, personal care assistance
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation per school requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass TB test (per district requirements)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Current clearances (or willingness to secure prior to starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Work with students in special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting individuals with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required, but valued)
• Reliable, patient, collaborative, and proactive approach
