As a valued instructional aide, you will:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Help students manage daily routines and classroom transitions, ensuring full participation
• Carry out behavior support plans and follow IEPs where required
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning space for all

To be eligible, youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Be at least 18 years old
• Pass a TB test as required by the school district
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed to assist students
• Current school clearances or willingness to obtain them before your start date

Preferred backgrounds include experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings. Working knowledge of strategies for supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges is a plus. Certifications such as CPI, PMT, or RBT are welcomed but not required. Most importantly, you bring a patient, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
