As an Instructional Aide, you'll deliver direct support to students through 1:1 or small-group assistance, working collaboratively with teachers and school staff. Each day offers an opportunity to help students reach their fullest potential, both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in academics, behavior, and social skills within the classroom
• Provide individualized or small-group help based on teacher direction
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Follow behavior support plans and IEP guidelines as needed
• Offer supervision, mobility, and personal care support to students
• Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test needed (per district requirements)
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist safely with lifting as needed
• Must hold or obtain the necessary clearances before starting work

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, childcare, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (beneficial but not mandatory)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach
