What You'll Do:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classroom settings
• Offer personalized assistance to students following guidance from teachers and staff
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Follow behavior support plans and adhere to student IEPs as assigned
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks as needed
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required
• TB test (required according to school guidelines)
• Must possess or be willing to obtain current school compliance clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous background in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral needs
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training (not mandatory, but valued)
• Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic team player
