As an Instructional Aide substitute, youll play a vital role each day youre in the classroommaking an immediate impact for students who need caring, individualized guidance in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group academic and behavioral support as directed by teaching staff
• Encourage student participation, maintain routines, and implement classroom transitions
• Support students with daily living skills, mobility, and personal care when necessary
• Help carry out IEP goals and implement behavioral support plans under supervision
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with supervision and ensuring students well-being throughout the school day

Required Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to meet school compliance (TB test, background clearance, and physical ability to assist/lift as needed)
• Willingness to secure or update required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in education, behavioral health, child care, or direct support for students with special needs
• Experience with special education, autism spectrum, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is a plus
• Reliability, patience, and enthusiasm for working collaboratively
