Position Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom environments academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Provide attentive 1:1 or small-group assistance under direction from teachers or staff
• Help facilitate daily routines, classroom transitions, and student participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs where applicable
• Assist students with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Recent TB test (per district requirements)
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT knowledgebeneficial but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
