Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings.
• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group assistance in collaboration with teachers and school staff.
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions between activities, and classroom participation.
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed.
• Help with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure student safety and engagement.
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TB test required (per district standards).
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed.
• Willingness to secure school-required clearances before starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative working style.
