Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of teachers to assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Offer 1:1 or group support as directed, adapting to the unique needs of each classroom
• Help students with daily routines, classroom activities, and transitions throughout the day
• Follow behavior support strategies and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as necessary
• Support mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care when appropriate
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners

Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test in line with district policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a school, child care, or behavioral health setting
• Background working with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and enjoys working as part of a team
