Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings under the direction of teachers and staff
• Assist students one-on-one or in small groups, adapting to their individual needs
• Support daily routines, transitions, and encourage active participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Offer mobility assistance, supervision, and help with personal care needs as required
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Willingness to complete a TB test per district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift to assist students as needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Exposure to CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (a plus, but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and strong collaboration skills
