Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classrooms
• Assist students individually or in small groups as directed
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs as needed
• Offer assistance with mobility, supervision, and personal care
• Contribute to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical assistance as necessary
• TB testing per school requirements
• Willingness to obtain required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented approach
