Responsibilities include:

• Assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
• Working directly with students to support daily routines, transitions, and class participation
• Implementing teacher-directed behavior plans and IEP strategies
• Supporting mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements as needed
• Maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test in accordance with district policies
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred experience:

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBTthese are helpful but not required
• A patient, team-oriented approach and reliable work habits
