Job Description

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
- Working directly with students to support daily routines, transitions, and class participation
- Implementing teacher-directed behavior plans and IEP strategies
- Supporting mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements as needed
- Maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- TB test in accordance with district policies
- Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting
Preferred experience:
- Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBTthese are helpful but not required
- A patient, team-oriented approach and reliable work habits
