In this as-needed position, youll have the flexibility to choose shifts based on your schedule and school coverage needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students in the classroom
• Offer 1:1 and small group support as directed by teachers or school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as necessary
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to pass a TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willingness to obtain all required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
