Per Diem Instructional Aide - Warren, MI

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Work closely with teachers and staff to deliver individualized or small-group support
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when required
• Provide assistance with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test as required by school policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or obtainable background clearances

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience considered an advantage
• Reliable, patient, and a strong team player
