Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Warren, Michigan

What Youll Do:

• Provide academic and behavioral support to students in classroom environments
• Assist students individually or in small groups as directed by teaching staff
• Help with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Offer mobility, supervision, and personal care assistance when required
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to provide a current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physically able to assist with lifting, walking, and standing throughout the day
• Willingness to obtain required school clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a bonus, not a requirement
• Demonstrated patience, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
