Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to meet school compliance requirements, including a TB test and background clearances (current or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting or mobility needs
- Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings preferred
- Background working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is an asset
- CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus, but not required
- Dependable, patient, and collaborative
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
- Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by educators
- Foster engagement through daily routines and classroom participation
- Implement behavior support strategies and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
- Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
- Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive educational setting
