Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Ability to meet school compliance requirements, including a TB test and background clearances (current or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting or mobility needs
• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings preferred
• Background working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is an asset
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by educators
• Foster engagement through daily routines and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive educational setting
