Job Description

What Youll Do:
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of students, supporting academic, behavioral, and social development
- Provide assistance in classroom routines, transitions, and active participation
- Help implement IEPs and behavior support plans under teacher and staff guidance
- Offer supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care as needed to ensure student well-being
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all
Who Should Apply:
- High school diploma or GED required; candidates must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Ability to complete TB test and obtain necessary school clearances before starting
- Experience in special education, behavioral health, or child care/preschool settings is highly valued
- Comfort in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges a plus
- Bonus if you have CPI, PMT, or RBT training (not mandatory)
- Reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit are essential
