Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Clear and current TB test (per district requirement)
- Must be able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
- Willingness to obtain any required clearances prior to starting
- Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings preferred
- Value given to those with experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a bonus, but not required
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group academic, behavioral, and social support in classrooms
- Assist students with daily routines and transitions throughout the school day
- Implement behavioral support strategies and follow IEPs as directed
- Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Help foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
