Per Diem Instructional Aide - Warren, MI

Responsibilities include:

• Providing academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assisting teachers by working with students either one-on-one or in small groups
• Helping with daily routines, transitions, and encouraging classroom participation
• Following behavior support plans and implementing IEP recommendations as directed
• Offering mobility support, supervision, and help with personal care as needed
• Creating and maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current TB test (as per district)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to complete school-mandated clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
