School Paraprofessional Subs Needed Flexible Per Diem Assignments

Instructional Aides are essential partners in powering a positive and inclusive educational environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group academic, behavioral, and social support as directed
• Assist students with classroom participation, activities, transitions, and daily routines
• Implement behavioral support plans and follow IEPs where needed
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements for students
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom atmosphere

Requirements for School-Based Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have at least one: active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certificate, or 36+ college credits
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district specific requirements)
• Willingness to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All required clearances up-to-date or willingness to complete before starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in educational, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, behavioral challenges, or autism
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT a plus (not mandatory)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; patient and reliable mindset
