In this role, youll thrive by:

• Offering academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
• Providing individualized or group assistance following direction from school staff
• Helping students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implementing behavior support plans and adhering to students IEPs as needed
• Assisting with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or a minimum of 36 college credits
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• TB test as required by school district
• Comfort with standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Up-to-date background clearances or willingness to complete them prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or RBT processes (a plus, but not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
