Per Diem Instructional Aide - Vista, CA

What Youll Do:

• Provide direct academic, behavioral, and social support to students, both 1:1 and in small groups
• Follow directions from teachers and school staff to ensure effective student engagement and participation
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and personal care as needed
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs when required
• Help with student supervision, mobility, and maintaining a respectful, inclusive environment
• Support a safe and encouraging classroom atmosphere for all

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required
• TB test per district guidelines
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols a plus
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative, team-focused approach
