As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you'll play a vital role in supporting 3rd-grade studentsoften working 1:1 or with small groupsby partnering with teachers and staff to foster academic, behavioral, and social success. Shifts are offered based on daily school coverage needs, giving you the chance to create a schedule that works for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and encourage classroom participation
• Implement IEPs and behavior support plans as needed
• Offer supervision, mobility, and personal care assistance
• Maintain a welcoming, safe, and inclusive learning atmosphere

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
• Recent TB test (per district regulations)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to obtain school-mandated clearances before starting

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is a plus
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative nature
