Position Responsibilities

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom activities
• Assist students one-on-one or in small groups under the direction of teachers and staff
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and assist with IEPs as needed
• Support students with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a welcoming, respectful, and safe learning environment

Requirements (School Compliance)

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test in accordance with district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances, or the willingness to obtain prior to starting work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare environments
• Background in supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is beneficial but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
