Per Diem Teacher Assistant | Ventura, California

Supportive and adaptable Instructional Aide Subs are needed on a per diem basis to help create positive learning experiences for students in structured school environments near Ventura, CA. Your compassion and talents will support students 1:1 and in small groupsmaking a meaningful impact where its truly needed. Position Responsibilities

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Provide one-on-one and small group support as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students transition through daily routines and fully participate in class activities
• Follow behavior support plans and individual education programs (IEPs) as needed
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical assistance if necessary
• Compliance-related clearances, current or willing to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience

• Background working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Prior experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
