Make a daily difference in students lives by supporting their academic, behavioral, and social success as an Instructional Aide substitute. Ideal for compassionate professionals, this flexible per diem position offers opportunities to work 1:1 with students in a structured, school-based environment. Assignments are available based on school coverage needs, so you choose when to work.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting students in the classroom with academic, behavioral, and social support
• Providing 1:1 or small-group guidance as directed by teachers and staff
• Helping students with routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Following behavior support plans and IEPs as appropriate
• Supporting students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning space

Basic requirements to qualify:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
• TB test per district requirements
• All required clearances current, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Familiarity in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus (not required)
• A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
