Instructional Aide Substitute professionals are needed for flexible, school-based roles supporting students in classroom settings near Vacaville, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer direct support to students in classroom environments, including 1:1 and small-group interactions
• Assist with academic activities, classroom participation, and daily routines
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individual education programs (IEPs) as directed
• Provide supervision, mobility, and personal care support as required
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test (per school district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide assistance with lifting
• Completion of school clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices is an advantage but not required
• Reliable, patient, and adaptable, with a collaborative spirit
