Key Qualifications and Compliance Requirements:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid TB test (according to district guidelines)
• Willingness to obtain all required clearances prior to starting
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care preferred
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is a plus
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is a bonus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and works well with teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 assistance to students, following guidance from teachers and school staff
• Support academic engagement, daily routines, and classroom transitions
• Assist with medical, mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help ensure a safe and inclusive school environment for all students
• Maintain professionalism and sensitivity to individual student needs
