As an Instructional Aide Sub, youll play a key role in supporting students on a 1:1 basis, providing meaningful academic, behavioral, and social assistance. Your work will directly support teachers and staff, contributing to an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer hands-on support to students in classroom activities and daily routines
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance, as directed by teachers
• Help implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Assist with classroom transitions, supervision, and student mobility
• Attend to personal care or safety needs of students when necessary
• Foster a respectful and welcoming classroom atmosphere

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district policy)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to start

Preferred Background:

• Experience within schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health settings
• Knowledge working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
