Skills & Characteristics Sought:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willingness to complete a TB test, along with any district-required clearances
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with light lifting as part of daily routines
• Enthusiastic, patient, and reliable; ready to adapt and collaborate in dynamic school settings

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is helpful but not mandatory

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist students individually or in small groups, as guided by teaching staff
• Help facilitate daily activities, classroom transitions, and engagement during lessons
• Support and reinforce behavior plans, following any assigned IEPs
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students
• Provide supervision and assist with personal care when necessary
