Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Torrance, CA

• Help students with daily classroom routines, transitions, and participation

• Support mobility, provide supervision, and address personal care needs as needed
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning space for all students

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to pass TB test (as required by district)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Willingness to obtain required clearances prior to start if not already current

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school environments, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Prior experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT viewed positively, though not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
