Instructional Aide Subs Needed | Per Diem | School-Based

Instructional Aides play an essential role in supporting student learning and development within a school environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group academic, social, and behavioral assistance as directed by school staff
• Support students with daily classroom routines, transitions, and participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEP accommodations
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care when necessary
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain professional, supportive interactions with both students and staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to pass TB test and obtain necessary school clearances
• Capable of standing, walking, and helping with lifting tasks
• Clearance requirements must be met before the start date

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT knowledge is a plus but not required
• Strong reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach
