Per Diem Instructional Aide - Temecula, CA

School Paraprofessional substitutes are needed to provide valuable instructional support in school settings near Temecula, CA. As an Instructional Aide, you will provide one-on-one support to students, help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and work under the direction of teachers and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom activities
• Assist students individually or in small groups, as directed by the teaching team
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implement behavior support strategies
• Support students mobility, supervision, and, if necessary, personal care needs
• Foster a respectful and safe learning environment at all times

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain, per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
• Current clearances, or willingness to secure before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials a plus, but not required
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset
